About Chai
From street stall to barista bar.
Chai — literally tea in Hindi — has been brewed across the Indian subcontinent for centuries. The masala version, spiced with cardamom, cinnamon, ginger and clove, became a global phenomenon in the 1990s. David Rio's blends are inspired by that street-stall original, dialled in for consistent café service.
